I am a knitting, spinning, dyeing, fiber-loving,
southern momma who just moved to Alabama and opened a yarn store called Yarnhouse Studio! I moved here from central TX where I worked at the Old Oaks Ranch Fiber Arts Center in Wimberley. Central Texas has a vibrant fiber community, and I learned so much from the people there. Now I’m ready to make new connections with this blog and website! My intention is for this to be a space in which I spread my joy in creativity, learning, and community as I contribute to and gain from the fiber community. Everyone has something to contribute to this community, and I look forward to learning by communicating with people from near and far about the beauty and inspiration we bring to our fiber arts.

So I heard from a little birdy that there is now a yarn shop in Auburn, and I need more details. I live in Austin, but my mom is near Auburn. She fell in love with Hill Country Weavers, and I want to get her to a good store at home too. Thanks!
